Before you book

Do I need a licence to drive it?

Yes. A valid driver's licence from any country and being over 18 is enough. We ask for it when we hand over the cart.

How does the security deposit work?

It is taken when we hand over the cart and returned in full when we get it back undamaged. It is not part of the rental price: it is money held in trust, and it appears that way on your receipt.

Where do you deliver it?

Wherever you are within Tulum: town, hotel zone, Aldea Zamá and La Veleta. We agree on a time and a spot over WhatsApp, and we pick it up there at the end.

How long does the battery last?

We hand it over at 100% and it lasts a full day of normal driving around Tulum. It recharges overnight from any ordinary socket.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at no cost as long as the booking is not paid. Once paid, the contract terms apply — and we email them to you before charging anything.

Can I take it onto the federal highway?

No. The cart is electric and drives on Tulum streets; highway 307 is out of range for safety reasons and under the vehicle insurance.
